What do you do, when faced with a theme that seems almost impossible?  You take it back to the roots:  Cupid.  Once I dug into Cupid's backstory and found out that Mars was his Dad, I had the idea of modernizing Cupid's bow and arrow into a family-friendly Sniper VR prototype...  Much like Cupid, you would pair up randoms with love...

But there's so many kinds of love, right?  So many different ways to love, be you boy, girl, man, woman, or something in between...

So I went with monsters to take gender and orientation issues out of play.  The NotFun monster pack, offered freely recently, seemed ideal.  After rigging 20 of them with Emerald AI and Puppetmaster, the trick was now how to trigger 'mini-interactions' between them all, so you could truly step into Cupid's shoes...

Unfortunately, as this was a Game Jam, time ran short, and both my 'camera bullets' and 'sniper scope' proved troublesome.  C'est la vie, c'est l'amour.
